Weekly Focus: 11/12-11/15

Reading: I can tell the difference between my point of view and the author’s point of view in an informational text.

Writing: I can use a graphic organizer focus and organize my informational writing. I can form and use possessive nouns and pronouns. I can use capitalization correctly.

Science: I can explore, research, and communicate solutions to pollution.

Math:

3.2- This week we will begin unit 1 in fourth grade math. Unit 1 focus is addition and subtraction within 1 million, place value, and rounding. I can determine the value of a digit in a large number. I can add and subtract large numbers. I can compare large numbers. I can write numbers in word form.

4.1- QUIZ over Comparing Fractions & Equivalent Fractions on Thursday 11/15. I can add and subtract fractions. I can determine a unit fraction. I can decompose (break down) fractions.
